Founded in Berlin in 2023, Laura Gerte makes clothes for women who already know. The label is rooted in feminist and socio-cultural inquiry, translated into radical silhouettes that sit between fashion and textile sculpture. Future punk charged with raw femininity, playful and defiant in equal measure. Each garment is constructed from reclaimed materials, pre-existing fabric carrying traces of past lives, manipulated and transformed through graphic surface work and explorative form. A Weißensee Academy of Arts graduate, Gerte fuses deeply personal creative practice with cultural commentary.
