Miss Sixty

Founded in 1991 by Wicky Hassan, Miss Sixty rewrote the rules of women's denim from the moment its first flared jean, the Tommy, hit the market. Through the late 1990s and into the 2000s, the brand became a genuine cultural phenomenon, its sculptural silhouettes and bold denim treatments capturing something specific about how women wanted to dress: playful, confident, unapologetic, with one eye on the 1960s and both feet in the present. The label's DNA has always been rooted in that tension, between craft and provocation, between a precise attention to cut and fabric and a refusal to take itself too seriously.
