Founded in 1883 by Ningyo-cho Hakusan and reborn in 1946, Hakusan (which means, 'White Mountain') is eyewear company infusing classical frame shapes with exacting minimal Japanese design sensibilities. The brand is perhaps best known for supplying John Lennon with it's iconic mayfair frames.
