Designer Leonnekke Derksen graduated from the Antwerp Academy and eventually interned at Balenciaga (pre-Gvasalia) as well as at Carven. Instead of choosing Paris as the location to launch the label, Derksen opted to be based in Belgium, where the clothes are also sewn. Léo embodies the energy between luxury, avant-garde and streetwear. Attitude, authenticity and honesty are the essence of its wearer.
