Max Zara Sterck sees garments as a natural extension of the body, for movement & expression. In her designing process, she observes the body to discover shapes & intuitively listens to the fabric & its connection to the body. Naturally, lines appear & the unexpected evolves. Body following, body flowing. The female body in movement turned out to be the endless source & focus of inspiration. This fits in seamlessly with her former professional gymnastics career & personal body experience.
