Founded in 2021 by Central Saint Martins graduate Zhong Zixin, the eponymous brand Zhong Zixin is known for its sculptural textures and feminine lines, inspired by the designer's upbringing in her family's furniture business. By blending Eastern aesthetics with modern fashion perspectives, Zhong incorporates unconventional materials such as bamboo weaving and wooden-like sculptures into her collections. As the inaugural winner of the VOGUE China Fashion Fund Chinese Designer Prize, Zhong Zixin gained international recognition, particularly after debuting at Paris Fashion Week in 2024. Her designs, often imbued with classical elegance and mythological influences, offer a sophisticated yet relaxed take on modern ready-to-wear.
