Began in 2010 by Melvin Tanaya and Lina Ty, Song For The Mute's obsessive enthusiasm for custom textile milling resides at the conceptual center of the Australian duo's offerings for men and women. Constant sourcing and development of highly specialized fabrics, taking years to develop linings and exploring classic technique's such as fusing and needle punching. Thematic are blended silk jacquard outerwear, micro-knit basics, and collaborations with artists, textile mills, and footwear labels, as well as a 2015 exclusive capsule with H. Lorenzo.
