Takuya Morikawa cut his teeth at Issey Miyake before launching TaaKK in 2012, taking with him plentiful fabrication experience and a desire to push the boundaries of construction. TaaKK’s signature items, including relaxed tailoring and shirts, reflect this mindset through unexpected fabric juxtaposition, as linen seamlessly transitions to cotton to wool, sometimes on the same garment.
