Nina Ricci’s Fall ready-to-wear collection marks an unprecedented chapter for the historic fashion house. In August of 2018, the Puig-group owned Parisian label appointed Dutch design duo Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh as its new creative directors—both revered for their conceptual approach towards menswear at Botter. Herrebrugh and Botter achieve a collection that sees Nina Ricci through their own eyes by translating their signature bright colours, sophisticated cuts, satin-y fabrics, and oversized garments into a new visual language that builds off of the elegance and romance that has always been integral to Nina Ricci—executing a medley of organic and geometric silhouettes by incorporating delicate gauze, layers of pinched fabric, flyaway panels, and relaxed tailoring.
